Business Name:
The Luxury Scent Company
What is the nature of your business / what services do you offer?
Our business is to introduce the world to the power of scent for home, business, and wellbeing.
We are passionate that Scent Technology is something everyone should experience. Home scenting is revolutionary, and we believe it should be a focal point in any modern-day home.
Choosing to incorporate a Scent Machine into your home is not just a treat for your senses, it’s a clever way to control the feel-good factor at home, we call it a 'mood machine' as its scientifically proven that scents can affect our mood significantly, its science.
Scent can help to create an emotional connection with a customer by associating feelings and experiences with your products and overall customer experience. The correct brand associated scent can improve brand perception and increase revenue for your business. The most successful brands around today are those we feel a connection to.
Using scent will improve customer interaction along with staff performance and engagement. When all our senses are activated, we are most perceptive to our environment. By incorporating a strategically placed scent machine with a bespoke scent into your business, you are creating further brand association that will link your customer to your products.
How did you come to be in the industry you are in? What is your background?
We both have a passion for scent! We are both obsessed with the power that scent has to change the mood or environment around you whether that be at home or work, holidays or while you are shopping, so what better place to put that passion than starting our business.
We have been friends for around 6 years meeting as our partners were best friends as kids. We are both mums who want to make an impact and show what we are capable of. We have a lot of the same likes and dislikes but at the same time are totally different! This works as we both bring different talents and skills to the table.
I’m from Liverpool, love the football (LFC of course), have two girls, and a puppy named Gigi, I always seem to be surrounded in chaos and love being creative, my rule is the more colour the better! Tammy is from Birmingham, moved to Liverpool 10 years ago and is an honorary scouser, she likes classy colours, working with numbers and has one son and teddy the puppy, she is laid back and loves a good cup of tea!
We are just two girls trying to make their mark on the world.
How would you like your clients / customers to describe your business?
We want our business to be seen as different, interesting and with products that you don’t just want but need! We want to be the household staple that you just couldn’t live without.
Scenting for business is also revolutionary and the powers it holds for retailers are what will set us apart from the rest. We want to enlighten people’s minds and help them realise they have the power to change aspects of their life at their fingertips with the power of scent.
What has been your greatest achievement to date?
Our greatest achievement would have to be starting the business during the pandemic with kids at home and staying positive and confident in our own abilities.
